Caitlin Bortolotto Krebs

Business Development Advisor


Caitlin Bortolotto Krebs has been a member of the CityWide Development team since 2007. As the organization’s business development officer, Caitlin works closely with local business owners to devise financing solutions to help them grow and expand their companies. Caitlin has a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s in Political Science, both from the University of Dayton.


Her past experience includes a Congressional internship in Washington D.C. and a grant associate internship with the Mathile Family Foundation in Dayton. With a passion for community and organizational development, Caitlin joined City Wide Development after working for the University of Dayton and the Kettering Foundation focused on citizen and civic participation.


Caitlin and her husband John have a daughter, Nora. Outside the office, she is Financial Development Vice President the Junior League of Dayton, Treasurer of the Dayton Sister City Committee, and serves on the Risk Management Association of the Miami Valley Board.



Brittany Lawrence

WiBN Finance Advisor


Brittany is a tax manager who works with corporate, partnership, and individual taxation work.

In addition to multi-state experience, Brittany’s industry focuses include real estate and manufacturing.  She helps clients fulfill the compliance requirements of the various taxing authorities while minimizing tax implications and providing valuable tax planning strategies.  Brittany works frequently with the Internal Revenue Service and the State of Ohio, resolving conflicts or assisting clients with audits.
 
Brittany also supports the recruiting of new talent for the Dayton office.  She is a leader in recruiting qualified students and organizing the internship program.  She enjoys working with younger staff as a mentor and recruiting former interns as full-time staff members.

 

Brittany graduated from Wright State University with a degree in Accountancy and Management Information Systems, summa cum laude. She is a certified CPA in the State of Ohio.  Professional affiliations include AICPA, OSCPA, Dayton Are Tax Professionals, and is a past Vice President of Business Networking International.

WiBN Operations Advisor


Debra has been the Executive Vice President of Millennium Metals, Inc. since 1995. Millennium Metals is a faith-based metal and industrial plastics service center in Southwest Ohio supplying customers all over the United States with the best in both quality products and superior customer service.   


Debra’s vision and creativity assists her husband, Tim Ghysels, President of Millennium Metals in communicating and implementing the organization’s vision, mission, and overall strategic direction.

Debra and Tim have lived in the area for over 23 years and raised their three children in Springboro, Ohio.


Debra is a member of the Springboro Chamber of Commerce, the Dayton Women’s Council of Realtors, a past Toastmaster’s President of Downtown Morning Toasters, and Operations Advisor on WiBN Advisory Board and she also serves as a WiBN Ambassador.  Certified Inductive Bible Study teacher and Biblical Counselor, Debra also serves at Springboro Baptist Church in the women’s ministry.

With over 25 years expertise in executive management, strategic planning and execution, small business consulting, and innovative leadership, she is known for generating double digit profits, high customer satisfaction, organizational development and effectiveness, and innovation.

 

Prior to establishing Donna Childs Consultants LLC, Donna served as President and CEO of the Better Business Bureau for 15 years.  Donna serves as Entrepreneuer Group Facilitator, and the Action Team Leader of the WiBN Membership Committee and facilitator of "Hot Topics" Koffee Talk.




Tina Marker

Tina is founder and owner of Windward Design Group LLC.


She has more than 25 years of experience in executive management, strategic planning, marketing, public relations, media relations, branding and design, crisis communications, and event management. She graduated from Nyack College with a BS in Management with a concentration in marketing and public relations.


Tina serves a on the Executive Committee for the American Heart Association’s Go Red Campaign,  and is a member and serves on the WiBN Business Advisory Board and Ambassador Team.


Tina serves as the Action Team Leader of the WiBN Marketing Committee and serves on the Conference and Sponsorship Committee and as a WiBN Ambassador, guest speaker and a Entrepreneur Group Facilitator.  Tina is responsible for the outstanding marketing and branding of Women in Business Networking.

Curious George has always been Mary’s favorite cartoon character.  Like George, Mary has a deep rooted value that there is always a way to get to where you want to go.  This quest for challenge and change led to a BSME,  MBA, business coaching certification and a successful 16+ year track record in business from small privately held to Fortune 500 Companies; Manufacturing, Professional Services,  Government Contracting to the small business. 

Mary is an inside business consultant for Process Equipment Company (PECo), an innovative customer centric solution based company offering specialized, engineered solutions and production components

Mary is married to her best friend Gerad, resides in Washington Township, OH with the sweetest dog ever – Thomas and has 6 nieces and nephews she enjoys.  She is also the Crew Chief for her and her husband Gerad’s race car business Bigmil Motorsports, LLC, a member of the WiBN Advisory Board, the co-chair/facilitator for WiBN Master Mind and an alternative on the Washington Township Zoning Board of appeals.


Carol Prewitt

Community Relations Advisor


Carol is a native of Dayton, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Social Work from St. Leo University in St. Leo, Florida.


Her professional background includes; former Licensed Social Worker with an emphasis on Mental Health, former Grade School Teacher, former Social Service Director and Ombudsman. She served seven years as an Aide to former Congressman Tony P. Hall and was employed at the Pentagon as a Congressional Liaison Representative for the United States Air Force Academy. Carol served as Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, Montgomery County, Ohio and also served as an Aide to former Ohio State Senator Fred Strahorn. Ms. Prewitt is a veteran of the United States Air Force. She is President of Prewitt Consulting, LLC and consults in the areas of Etiquette and Business Protocol, Civility Training, and Coaching.

She has received numerous awards and acknowledgements for her professional and community service. Her awards include the Department of the Air Force Meritorious Civilian Service Award and Medal, Mary Scott Legacy Award Honoree and The Presidents Club Outstanding Community Service Award.


Her hobbies include spending quality time with family and friends, mentoring youth, reading, writing poetry and short stories, journaling, bowling, skating, Pilates, foreign travel and music. She has a daughter, Felicia Marie and two grandsons, Xavier and Jalen.


Teresa Zumwald

Teresa  is a communications consultant, project manager, copywriter, speechwriter

and author with 25 years of professional experience.


She is owner and president of Zumwald & Company, which provides strategy, internal and external communications, and speechwriting services to organizations ranging from large corporations to small businesses. Specialties include corporate communication, customer  communication, employee/member communication, marketing communications, media relations/public relations and publications.


Her work has been published in more than 35 magazines, journals and corporate publications, both internal and external, and she is the author of three corporate history books. Before creating Zumwald & Company in 1989, Teresa was a communications specialist for Geographic Information Services at Woolpert, a national design, engineering and geospatial firm.


Teresa holds a B.A. in journalism from The Ohio State University in Columbus and a capstone minor in marketing.  Teresa serves as the Action Team Leader of the WiBN Public Relations Committee and facilitator of "Hot Topics" Koffee Talk.
